PHYSICIANS ASSISTANTS

Lena M. Yeater, PA-C has been with Amherst Family Practice since 1995. She graduated from Alderson-Broaddus college in Philippi, WV with her degree as a Physician Assistant and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants, Inc. (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Mrs. Yeater enjoys the variety of patients she sees as a family practice PA. She resides in Wardensville, WV with her husband Joe Yeater, who is also a Physician Assistant and their two sons. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Christie O’Roark, PA-C joined Amherst Family Practice in 1997. She graduated from Dusquene University in Pittsburgh, PA, with a Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant. Mrs. O’Roark is certified by the NCCPA and is a member of the AAPA. She enjoys interacting with family practice patients. Mrs. O’Roark and her husband Brian, reside in Middletown For relaxation, she collects antiques and does applique quilting.

Emily A. Russell, PA-C is also a graduate of the Physician Assistant program at Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, WV. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Bridgewater College. She joined Amherst Family Practice in 2000. Mrs. Russell moved to Winchester from Petersburg, WV. She is certified by the NCCPA and is a member of the AAPA. Mrs. Russell looks forward to minor surgical procedures and preventative medicine. She and her husband, Donovan, have two children. They involve themselves in outdoor activities such as golf, skiing, hiking and camping.

Anne E. Schempp, PA-C is a graduate from Saint Frances University in Loretto, PA and has her Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant. She joined Amherst Family Practice in 2001. Ms. Schempp is certified by the NCCPA and is also a member of the AAPA. She enjoys all aspects of family practice medicine, but particularly enjoys women’s health issues and minor surgical procedures. She looks forward to traveling, hiking and reading in her time away from the office.

Gregory L. Morell, PA-C joined AFP in 2003. He graduated from Saint Francis College in Loretto, Pennsylvania with his Physicians' Assistant degree. He is certified by the NCCPA and is currently a member of the AAPA. Greg has also received a Master's Degree from WVU in Sports Medicine where he utilized his Athletic Training Certification with Division I athletes. Greg is excited to bring a vast knowledge of orthopedic and sports medicine ailments into the family practice setting. Greg is also an avid hunter and is involved with the local search and rescue teams. He and his wife, Jennifer, and daughter Jenna, currently live in Winchester where they enjoy family outings and outdoor activities.
